Sandi Lea Sage, Ph.D, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and 40 years’ experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I especially enjoy helping those in crisis and am skilled at helping people who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and loss of relationships. At times, all one needs is support and direction in order to put issues into a positive perspective: I can assist you in that endeavor.
I have facilitated group therapy and provide counseling to individuals, couples and families. I have experience in the use of various modalities, however, assessing my client to determine which modality is best suited to them, is a skill I have mastered.
My Philosophy
My philosophy is that there are always options and as social beings we can help each other gain valuable insights. My work reflects a holistic perspective including biological, social, family and psychological components. I view therapy as a collaborative effort and believe that through the combination of mutual trust and respect, innovation, and expertise, I can provide a most conducive environment to help my clients achieve positive changes. I have combined my own life experiences and used my expertise as a Psychologist to provide comfort and present alternative solutions and/or perspectives to clients’ issues.
